~ Highlight of the Day: Eating a homemade meal at a house. . . and brownies. Real brownies. ~
Some important things that happened this week:
1. I watched Avengers on Monday night. I actually understood the shawarma reference at the end of the movie - totally mindblowing. And now that I've had shawarma, it makes that last last scene just that much better :)
2. I had pizza on Tuesday! And mint lemonade slushies. . . awesome stuff. It was even good enough to make getting home after dark and getting in trouble for it almost worth it :)
3. I played the most epic game of Kill the Flower/Save the Flower ever. It took us well over an hour (an hour I should have been doing homework. . . ), but it was worth it to see the results at the end!
4. I got a tour of the Oasis kitchen, including the pantry where they keep all our favorite foods stocked in mass quantities. . . for example, the nutella-y puffed chocolate pillow thingies. . .
5. I checked out some French monastery that had some cool garden spaces.
