Blogging + Studying = . . . Not Much

Instead of studying all day for my midterm tomorrow morning I:

 

walked through Hezekiah's tunnel in the dark.

 

Walked through a tunnel that wasn't as cool as Hezekiah's.

(but it did have cool moss that grew by the lights. . . )

 

 

Tried to go to the Temple Mount. Failed. Twice.

 

(but we got some good pictures of it. . . )

 

Ate expensive shawarma.

 

Climbed the tower of the Church of the Redeemer.

 

Got a little bit lost.

 

Found a staircase to the rooftops.

 

Made it home right in time to donate blood.

 

(Madison held my hand. . . I don't like giving blood :)

 

Exchanged pictures (other people's cameras are so good!).

 

(Maccharus, where John the Baptist was beheaded. . . )

 

(Jerash)

 

(Bethlehem at twilight. . . I think)

 

(across the street from the shuk. . . they appeared to be pacifiers

hung from trees. We have no idea why.)

 

(this will be my car someday.)

 

 

 

Got asked to the JC Prom.

 

 

 

It's been a busy day. I'm not sure I have time to study. . . :)
